Storage

(Advice from Helios Homeopathic Pharmacy)

Storage

Homeopathy is energetic medicine so should be stored away from electronic equipment, mobile phones, TV, wi-fi, computers and microwaves, x-ray scanners at airports should be avoided as much as possible, although the general consensus is that remedies survive these exposures as long as they are not too frequent. For extra care you can protect your remedies by wrapping them in aluminium foil.

Ideally store them in a dry, dark drawer or cupboard that maintains an even room temperature. Keep out of reach of children and away from other medication.

Do not expose the remedies to strong light, extreme heat or cold or strong smells.

Dosage

Administer one dose into the mouth without touching it. One dose is generally one pill.

Pills and tablets can be tipped into the lid of a bottle and then into the mouth or pushed up individually from a plastic/paper pouch and tipped into the mouth .

Taking a pill in water; put one pill into a clean bottle of spring water (with a lid), wait until the homeopathy has dissolved, then shake and drink as much as you want. Each time you take a drink remember to shake the bottle which activates the remedy and will count as one dose of the remedy. If the water bottle is nearly empty, fill up with more spring water only and shake again, the energy of the remedy will be transferred to the new water and drink as before.

Liquid homeopathy (LM’s) can be tipped or dropped directly under the tongue.

Take a remedy at least 10 minutes away from food and drink or from any strong flavours such as toothpaste or tobacco if possible, (in emergency situations take remedy/remedies straight away).
